Christmas's day

Yes is christmas's day! The family gave me a gift, the underwear but the wrong size :)  but they were kind.
I don't feel which today is Christmas becuase in the street or in the center there aren't a lot of decoration than in Switzerland. I think the snow make a good environment about Christmas's day.

Today I received the best gift! I found the shareroom very beautiful! I have a swimpool, sauna, gym, tv, ps2, big kitchen, big living room, ecc.. and I pay only 130 at week, I'm very happy!
The most important there is near to school and center and maybe the man who rent this room, he can help me to find a job.


Finaly I can cook the food that I like and talk with people who have the same age because in this appartament there are 1 couple from USA, 1 man tahwain and 1 man brazilan.

New family

Sorry, but in the new family I hadn't no internet and I could not add new post in the blog.
Fortunately I found a wireless with my external antenna and now I can use internet :).
Anyway the new family it's not very bad, only one o two things I don't like very much so the homestay is so far from center and the bus or ferry sometime there aren't after 11 PM.
The bathroom is more cleary than the other family but the bedroom is very empty, I haven't a desk, a wardrobe, the floor is not clean.. well I preferred to sleep in the old family but the most important is the family prepares a good food.

In the family there are the parents, two children, one brother-in-law and ( I think ) a son who works.
The son is very frendly, I think a little crazy :)

Now at morning I can do the breakfast with coffe and toast but in the weekend I must to washing-up because the woman told me "I haven't time to washing-up..." Ok... but I spent a lot of money for this family I think they must washing-up...

Anyway the second day I was here I was closed in the room because the key that they gave me doesn't working. I had to call the family and ask to opening my door, I lost the ferry and then I was late at school.. shit day!

It's raining

These days sometimes raining a lot. In Australia it's usualy raining but the teacher told me which in this year is more than the other.
Yesterday Silvio went here at Brisbane but in the afternoon it's come raining and we were can't to take the sunbathing.
Anyway It was beautiful see again my friend :) because everyday I must to speak English and sometimes it's very difficult to explam what do you want say.

Today it's raining again, that sucks! I went out anyway but it wasn't a good idea because I was all wet when come back at home.....
Maybe coming soon I be sick :P

Tomorrow I hope to discover where and WHEN I change my family.. maybe if I will have a family at Christmas's day

Victory party

Yes Party Party Partyyyyyyyyyy!!!!
Thursday and Saturday I went to Victory pub and I enjoyed with my friends and mates, maybe it's better don't describe what's happened. As they say: "One picture say more than 1000 words"

Well, after the party I must to walk at home, around 6 km, it's not bad but I walked about 2 hours.
Saturday: Yes, I went again at Victory and then I met 5 girls from Australia.
I enjoyed with them because in Switzerland if you talk with a girl haven't interesting to you instead here they speak more.

Oh yes after every night I'm going to eat a kebab or piece of pizza :)

Thoughts

Well, when stay at home I remeber when I was arrive in this house. I didn't think I like stay here but sometimes I look the pictures about my Swizerland :) and I feel me a stranger. Anyway I'm happy to do this adventure!

Step by step I'm meeting new friends, most are from Brazil and Turkey.
I think that is an opportiunitiy to compare a different cultures and lifestyles because we are accustomed ( in italian "abituati", I don't know if there is a right word ) to our culutre.

Now I can't stop to descrive my feelings :) It's very sad...
This afternoon I received the Shafston card and the invite to go out tomorrow at vicktory.
Yes I'm happy to go out, I don't like to go alone :P

Mhh.... I don't know what write... Yes I can't write about the amazing awaiting the train that returns to work but It's usualy in this country.

School and South Bank

Yes, today I don't missed the bus :) I have luck ... but not more.
My class is not  one, the change three time at day but every day is the same.

The teachers are very funny and the lessons aren't boring :) I like this school but I don't like the news give me about the family. I hope they found a new family beforce the holiday otherwise I must sleep under the brige :P.
Well, I met new person from different nationality. The funniest moment of day was when we must repeat the others name, strangely only teacher was capable to say correct and a guy call me "Swizerland man" :)

In the afternoon I visited to South Bank and I  saw the beach, bridge, city ,ecc.. It's not bad and there are a lot of young people!
I think which I will go to the beach just I have know new friends ( I hope faster ).
The people of shafston school aren't unpleasant because if you want speak with us they are happy to met person :)

First day at school

Yes, finaly I'm going to school but the day was started very bad!
I looked the timetable and which bus I need but this fucking translink don't work very well.... I had to walk around 1 km to arrive the bus stop and when missing a few meter I saw  my bus to go away, I took anothers bus but I had to walk again..... It was a big shit like first day of school.

I started the school and I think I will like it, there are a lot of activites, big garden, a lot of people and more more more.
The lunch it's the same story :P it isn't no good but I must adapt!
Fortunality the exam which I did it's not bad, I have the pre-intermediete level.

After the school I went at China town to change Euro and to buy the sun cream.
The bank ask me to give a passaport to change the Euro and 5 dollars to tax, it's unbelievable!
Then I come back at home and walking across the cars I saw the lock at steering wheel, I wanted to laugh :)

Today I can say which I'm capable to go at school without problem, it was hard but in the end I arrived at destination.

I'm happy, finaly tomorrow I'm going to school and I know which bus stop exit.
Well, after this little trip ( 30 mintues to arrive ) I went in  T to eat something before I die of hungry :P. When I arrived at McDonald's I have a little afraid because a man near me wanted stolen the spare money.
I eated and I'm come back at home, I watched some films and I did laundry, it's strange for me.

Finaly I discovered which my towel give me the first day by my family there wasn't clear becuase now it have a nice smell!

Night life in Brisbane

The night life in Brisbane is like to London, the pubs and bars are everywhere in the center.
There are two type of pubs, the first is open door and you don't  have to dress well but the second type you do have to dress with pants, ecc..

When I arrived in the Roma Road I looked the big Christmas tree, I don't belevie which in Australia they did. It's strange to look the tree without snow, I have a little melancholy....


Well my first night in Brisbane it's not very bad, I met three girls who help me to found the pubs like to Wallstreet ( in Brisbane is ten time more big than Ascona :P ) but they would not come here because they had the coke in the hand... bah....


Finaly I understand a little more how the train work  :)

Brisbane city

Brisbane is very big city, I don't know if today I visited all place but I went around and I did an idea how is it.
My luck it's I have a train station a few meters from house and to come in city is very easy.

I thought to go beforce in South Brisbane and walking up to Fortitude Valley and then discover what bus I need to catch Monday to go at school.
Yes is my idea to do this trip but it wasn't easy how I described. Firstly I don't understand very well how work the train and I lost the train although I had seen which probably it's right.

No problem I waited 30 minutes to look other train :), and then I arrived on South Brisbane but I thought it's the station in center of Brisbane and indeed no.
No problem even here, I walked for 20 minutes to come in center, in the end I used 1 hour to come in Brisbane city :) it's not bad!


Well, after eating I walked to direction to Fortitude Valley but the next time I catch the bus because it's very hot :D
When arrived at destination I don't found the bus stop and I had to walk trought the "Stroy Bridge".
I was hoping to catch a bus, found the school and come back at home but it's not easy because the fucking timetable don't specific which the both bus ( 227 and 232 ) go in the same place and here I had to wait again.
Finaly I could to take the bus but I missed the stop to go on my school....
I thought which the bus was going to Wynnum but it change the road and go out  -.- I had to escape and  return back.
So, I haven't found the bus stop which come back at home and I had to walk for 20 mintues.

I think ask first my family before go around without the map of bus line :)

Surfers Paradise

Today I visited Surfers Paradise, it's a very beautiful city!
It was the first time which I took the train in Australia and I think it's not difficult to use this transport :) but it's a little expensive ( 11 AUD from Brisbane to Surfers ).
I had the help by my friend Silvio who indicated the way right to come here. I must to took a train, change in Park Road and go to Norang with Gold Coast line.

The travel took 1.30 hours to come in Norang and I had to take a bus to arrived on Surfers Paradise ( others 35 minutes ).
My luck is  Silvio becuase he come on bus and I could to arrive at the destination without problem.
I ate at Burger king but I don't like very much the food, in Swizerland is the best and then we went to the beach.
My friend called her friends and around 1 hour later Damiano came. He it's a guy who lives in Swizerland in the Lugano and He is 25 years old.
Damiano led the surf's board and Silvio go in sea with it, both aren't capable to go surf but it's very funny to look they :)
Well, in the end I come at house later because the train had problem ( don't ask me what beacuse I can't understand ), luckly the family aren't in house only my housemate who give me a dinner :)

The first day with new Family

Wow my first impression is "you are very young!".
I had no time to enter in house which the dogs greeted me :) , two very big dogs!
The family was kind to show me the bathroom and the room but I think which their hate me a little :P because I arrived at 2.13 AM.

The next day I go out to discover my new town :) but it was hot and come back quickly. I bought an hambugerg on the airport but I wasn't hungry.

In the evening the family cocked for me a big meal  with Lasagne and vegetables.


I discovered which I have one housemate who study at university, I hope to have a housemate which goes to school but it's okay :)

Tomorrow I'll go to my fucking friend

The fly

My first international fly is very strange. Fly with a screen touch is another way to pass time, you can use only this tool without your laptop, to watch video,tv,listen music, ecc.
I take the first fly at Malpensa direction to Dubai, this was very long, 5 hours on air but I successful to sleep around one hour.
Then from Dubai I take the fly to Brisbane but I discorver which the fly is in two step. First stop at Singapore and then Brisbane, I was afraid because I thougut which I wrong the fly.
I must to tell the truth, the fly Dubai to Singapore was the wrose I have ever been take because the young boy across me, he vomiting all the time and it isn't very well!

So the last fly I could to sleep without the problems :) but the food sucked!

La preparazione

Oggi ho concluso le ultime pratiche riguardante l'iscrizione, la parte più difficile era la compilazione della richiesta del visto, dove mi ha tenuto impegnato per circa 60 minuti.


L'attesa di avere una risposta si fa sentire, devo aspettare lunedì per ricevere una conferma per poi prenotare l'aereo.
La scelta dell'aereo erano due: prendere il treno e partire da Zurigo o farmi portare a Milano e partire da li, siccome il costo è nettamente inferiore da Milano opterò per questa opzione.

La buona notizia è la possibiltà di farsi rimborsare metà del costo riguardante la scuola, siccome la Fondazione speranza offre questa possibiltà agli studenti :).


Prossimi aggiornamenti appena ho tutto in mano! Magari evitare di scrivere tutto in italiano, perciò non insultatemi se canno a scrivere :D
